Well.. you could always try teaching him yourself?

I like your idea though, and it would be fun/interesting to take a look at. I'm one of those clu-less people who would benefit from it too.. but have the luxury of having my boyfriend teach me.

Yes it should be done. But if you are in a good guild, this shouldn't be a problem. Since many guilds will help with quests, and then they see him play, and they notice that your friend is just running in and doing stuff. Then they will sit him down and properly teach him how and what to do. Atleast thats how my guild teaches people like that.

I vote for this thread to become the official "schooling" thread. Post links to advice threads (how to pull, etc.) and if any new players (not nearly the same as noob) would like schooling in fire elementalist discipline, whisper me Doctor Slugfly.

Soon I will also be able to school for healer monk, but I won't do it until after I'm level 20.

ps. OP = good idea, people helping people.

Lesson 1.

Warriors: You are not the leader of the group. Please follow the lead of the puller, who will probably be the ranger.

Catch a man a fish, you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, you feed him for life.

I'd LOVE to do this! It may sound weird, but i get alot of satisfaction out of helping characters.

yay, cookies ^^

live free...die well was from the scorpion king

actually, i fancied making a guild in the start that was about helping newbies, but since i have to get all the way through certain areas to get the hall to help them have safe space to practice grouping and stuff, i have yet to get that up.
so, i just keep at least one Pre char, and sometimes turn my local on in town or near the catacombs and answer in whisper some of the stuff i can answer

daft question, but, if your in Pre, a memeber of a guild with a hall, can you just travel to the hall tele style, or do you have to wait till you hit post to go there?

I apologize for the above posts of mine. They where my brothers. How he got my password is beyond me. Its funny how he is telling the other player to get better when he doesn't know how to get the damn rez sig.

Anways, Srry for the above posts. I will change my password.

I agree a school will help newcomers find there way around the game.

Good idea
